Edixa I is a 35mm film viewfinder camera made by Wirgin and produced between 1953-57. Its first models are the same with Wirgin Edina I. [1]

- Engraving on the top plate "Edixa" without the model number
- There are various lens/shutter combinations:
- Cassar 40mm f/2.8 or f/3.5, Edinar 43mm f/3.5 and Ennagon 45mm f/2.8 in Vario, Vero, Pronto or Prontor-SVS
- Viewfinder: optical
- Focusing: turnable front lens element
- Film transport: Lever and rewind wheel
Edixa Vero is not a type of Edixa viewfinder series, contrary to some sources. It is only an Edixa I with Vero shutter.
