I bought a Zenobiaflex II on ebay a few months ago - the only way I have of knowing that it's a Zenobiaflex model II is because it comes with an instruction sheet, otherwise the model is exactly as the F-II described and pictured in this article. The lens serial numbers are in the 702,000 range, but the instruction sheet clearly states that it's a ZenobiaFlex Model II.

Thank you for that information. I'll soon post a reproduction of the advertisement showing the name "F-II". It seems that there is no functional difference between the two variants, only the new company name and shutter name. It may be that the company did not print a new instruction sheet for the F-II and delivered the camera with a manual corresponding to the former variant. An easy way to spot that is the company name printed on the instruction sheet: is it Daiichi or Zenobia?

The company name is Zenobia Optical Co., Ltd. I'd be happy to scan the instruction sheet and email it to you.
