above: funny film advance by means of teeterboard movement of opened lens cover
images by Alan Doyle

The Rolleimatic was designed by Heinz Waaske. Its lens covering shifting door is also the film advance lever. When opened the lens is popped out. It's a kind of compact camera. It has automatic exposure which may be not quite durable. Otherwise it could have become one of the compact camera classics.
