Rocket Camera Co.[]

Rocket Camera Co. was a Japanese company that put its name on inexpensive cameras taking 16 exposures on 120 film, such as the Rocket Camera.

"Rocket Camera Co., Ltd."[]

The name ROCKET CAMERA CO., LTD. also appears on some examples of the New Rocket made in the late 1940s or early 1950s. Other examples of this camera are identified as made by Tōkyō Seiki, a company which is known to have used various dummy names before 1945. This "Rocket Camera Co., Ltd." is perhaps one such dummy name, or it might be the name of the importer of the camera into the United States.
