The Olympus PEN PT-EP01 is a special underwater-housing for the Olympus PEN E-PL1. It weighs 1.1 kg and withstands water pressure in a depth of 40 metres. The camera housing supports the use of the E-PL1 with certain lens types and with the optional electronic viewfinder. The camera itself supports underwater application by special exposure programs "underwater macro" and "underwater wide-angle". It has an extra window near the bottom for leakage control.
