The Mec 16 was one of the cameras of the post-war subminiature camera boom. It was made bei Feinwerktechnik GmbH in Lahr, Germany, a daughter company of Schäffler in Herzogenaurach which made the NAVAX camera. The Mec 16 was a viewfinder camera. It could take 10×14mm-sized shots on special 16mm film cartridges.
