Kodak Duex is a medium format film viewfinder like box camera made by Eastman Kodak Co. Rochester, N.Y., USA and produced between 1940-42. [1], [2]

  • Film: roll 620 film, picture size 4.5x6cm, a pseudo half-frame format for 620 film, takes 16 frames
  • Lens: Kodak Doublet, fixed aperture f/11 , periscopic screw type collapsable
    • Focus range: 6 feet +inf
  • Focusing: fixed focus
  • Shutter: one speed simple spring rotary shutter
    • Speeds: I (instant) 1/30 +B; setting: by a lever on the lens-shutter barrel
  • Cocking lever and Shutter release: by the same lever, with a security handle, on the lens-shutter barrel
    • A mechanical stop prevents the shutter from being depressed until the lens is unscrewed to the taking position.
