Ilford Sportsman cameras were a range of 35mm film viewfinder cameras and rangefinder cameras, manufactured by Dacora-Kamerawerk, Reutlingen, Germany for Ilford Ltd., Ilford, UK and produced between 1957-67
Sportsman series was a cheaper alternative to the Kodak Retina and Retinette series for the newly-popular 35mm format at the time. The Sportsman cameras were rebadged versions of Dacora Dignette and Dignette model variations. Bodies were offered black or grey.
Sportsman cameras were sold mainly in continental Europe, with Holland being apparently a major market area.
They were offered a variety of shutters and lenses.
