The Goerz Pocket Tenax is a series of large format folding bed plate film camera, manufactured by Optische Anstalt C.P. Goerz AG. Friedenau, Berlin, Germany and produced around 1910. [1]

Its offered in three formats with various lens/shutter combinations.

Do not confuse with Vest Pocket Tenax (Westentaschen Tenax). That is a strut folding camera which is also known as Plate Tenax

  • Body: aluminum alloy,covered in black leather.
  • Bellows: double extension bellows
  • With a diagonal Rack and pinion adjustment and a collapsible finder
  • Formats: quarter plate 8.3x10.8cm, 10x13cm, and post card 8x13cm
  • Lenses: Syntor or Dogmar
  • Shutter: Compound shutter speeds 1-1/250 +B
