Smena-E is 35mm film viewfinder camera made by LOMO, and produced as a prototype camera between 1970-72. [1] [2] [3] [4]

It is a Smena-Symbol body with CdS exposure meter.

Some features[]

There are two prototypes, and both have no serial numbers

  • The first one
    • Black plastic body
    • Lens T-43 40mm f/4 (Triplet)
    • CdS exposure meter (powered by 2+1 VP 625 batteries)
    • Batteries nest in the bottom
    • DIN/ASA / GOST scales
    • 1m to infinite distances scale
    • One red led on the right side of finder
    • Aperture priority automatic shutter (?)
  • The second one
    • Grey plastic bottom
    • 2 leds in the finder
    • Different scale on lense top
    • Manual/semi automatic shutter (?)
