Silette rapid I

Silette Rapid I

Silette Rapid I is a 35mm film viewfinder camera made by Agfa and introduced in 1964. It belongs to the long lasting Silette series.

This camera has the same characteristics as Agfa Silette I, but uses Agfa Rapid cartridge 35mm film. The lens is Agfa Color-Agnar 45mm f/2.8 in Prontor 125 shutter. The opening system of the back for the loading of film is also different. The back is hinged (left side of the camera seen of face). The re-wind crank disappeared, useless with the Rapid system.[1]
