The Diana Mini is a variant of the Diana, one of the most popular toy cameras. The Mini was made by Lomography after the Diana Plus (released 2007); released in 2008, this is the version for 35mm film, whereas the original Diana and Diana Plus use 120 roll film. The camera has a selector switch on the back at top left to switch from a square format 24×24mm to a half-frame format 17×24mm, only usable after taking a shot and before winding on, the latter allowing up to 72 shots on a 36 frame 35mm film. The winding wheel comes to a stop at a different point (at after just over half a rotation for square and at just over a quarter rotation of the dial for half-frame) depending on which mode is selected. The shutter, a lever positioned on the side of the lens barrel, can be depressed an unlimited number of times to make double exposures and can be depressed even if the film isn't wound on a full/half frame, allowing overlapping photographs. The camera has a selector for two apertures, f/8 and f/11 (marked by a cloud and a sun), as well as one for bulb mode (B), where the shutter stays open until the shutter lever is released, or regular/normal shutter operation (N). The lens is made of plastic and the shutter speed is fixed at 1/60, and there are four focus zones selected by turning a dial in the front of the lens barrel (0.6m, 1-2m, 2-4m, infinity).
