The Canon Snappy QT (Prima BF-80 in Europe) of April 1997 was a 35mm compact camera for budget-conscious photographers, and was part of the Canon Snappy series. It had a relatively wide angle lens, a large viewfinder and a film window in the back door. A DATE model was also available. In France, a special edition of the BF-80 featuring the mascot Footix was launched in 1998 to celebrate the soccer World Cup.
