The Beauty Canter was a 35mm fixed-lens rangefinder camera made in 1957 by Taiyōdō Koki. There were two versions, featuring.

  • Either a Canter 45mm / f2.8 lens or a Canter-S 45mm / f1.9 lens. The faster lens had 10 aperture blades for a nearly circular pupil.
  • Copal-MXV shutter with speeds B, 1/sec to 1/500s, M and X flash synchronization and self timer.

The two versions had slight cosmetic differences.

The Beauty Canter followed the Beauty 35 Super, and was quickly followed by the Beauty Super II.
