Optima Rapid 250

Optima Rapid 250 is a 35mm rapid film viewfinder camera made by Agfa and introduced in 1965. It belongs to Agfa Optima Rapid series of automatic cameras with 24x24mm exposures on Rapid cassettes. The body of this first Optima Rapid model is different from later Optima Rapid 1966 series.

The Optima Rapid 250 is with programmed automatic exposure by Selenium cell exposure meter, ordering the shutter speed and the aperture. Manual mode is possible for flash and B. Focusing is manual front focusing type by symbols scale. It has hot-shoe, Agfa Color-Agnar 45mm f/2.8 lens, and Automatic shutter with 1/30-1/250. Shutter release lever is on the lens/shutter barrel. Bright-frame viewfinder shows green and red signals for correct exposure. [1]
